Winter... has always struck me as being a pretty harsh time of the year, but with a certain elegance to it. I thought it fit Salem’s personality nicely, and the whole idea seemed solid enough to tease a drawing out of.

Like most of the stuff I’ve been doing recently, this one is the result of some on-off work over the course of a month or so. I didn’t really have any kind of concrete final product in mind when I started; to be honest, I mostly just wanted some practice with coloring, as I haven’t really done any for some time. It was a good refresher, but overall... eh, I don’t really like it. Still, I got to experiment with some different techniques using my tablet... see what works and what doesn’t. So ‘tis all good.
